Gokdeniz Karadeniz: Rubin has no good pitches, shame for such an ambitious club

Talking about his team’s problems at the beginning of the Russian Premier League season, Rubin Kazan midfielder Gokdeniz Karadeniz has admitted that the players still didn’t get used to the new tactical scheme, while the poor training conditions impede the progress.

«We are still adapting to the new scheme. Some things already go well, other things don’t,» said the Turkish player according to Sport-Express. 

«And after all, we’ve got nowhere to play. Those places, where we had to show our skills this spring, are not proper football fields. All except Krasnodar – it’s a pleasure to play there.

«I know it’s not good to blame the pitch, but the football we want to play requires the club to have a quality field. We don’t have one – neither at the training ground, nor at the stadium. It’s not right for a club aiming for titles.»
