Chechen sports minister Alkhanov banned for confronting the refs after a Terek match
Khaidar Alkhanov, Terek Grozny vice-president and the sports minister of Chechnya, has been banned from attending the Russian Premier League games after being involved in a post-match incident in the referee’s dressing rooms.
The Chechen minister allegedly came into the officials’ dressing room after Terek’s 3-1 defeat at home to Volga and shouted insults at them. The incident was noted by the match inspector in his report to the Russian football authorities.
