Roman Abramovich denies reports he payed €1.2 million for Euro-2012 «presidential» box

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich denied reports in the Polish press that he had paid over a million euros for an extravagant private box at the National Stadium in Warsaw for Russia’s second group match against Poland on June 12.

On Monday The Polish online edition Puls Biznesu reported that the Russian oligarch was ready to splash out €1,2 million on the «presidential» VIP seat.

«Yes, he plans to attend, but the information published in the Polish press is entirely inaccurate,» insisted John Mann, head of public relations at Abramovich-owned Millhouse LLC, adding that the fee was significantly lower than reported.
