Fulham defender Hangeland impressed with Pogrebnyak’s prolific start

Fulham defender Brede Hangeland has paid tribute to his Russian teammate Pavel Pogrebnyak, whose sensational debut in the Premier League saw him hit the target five times in just three matches.

«If it keeps going like this who knows where it is going to end? I’m very happy for him. The goals are one thing, but he works so hard and that is what you want to see, especially as a defender,» the Norwegian center back noted.

«When you look at your strikers you just want them to run around like mad men and that is what they did today, both of them. And for him to score three goals as well is impressive,» the Cottagers player added.
