Rubin Kazan sign Spanish midfielder Jonatan Valle

Spanish midfielder Jonatan Valle, formerly of Racing Santander, told El Diario Montanes that he signed a short-term deal with Rubin Kazan after having a trial at the club.

«I am staying with Rubin. The coach gave my move the go-ahead and I am ecstatic. It is a big day for me.

I did pretty well in the friendlies, but I was still cautious about signing a contract here. The last couple of days have been pretty difficult. Now I signed a deal until end of the season, but I hope to stay here longer. I don’t speak a word of Russian yet. Kazan is a huge city, third biggest in Russia. It’s rich in oil and gas resources, people here are pretty well off.»

Valle, 27, came through Racing’s youth academy and has been at the club since 2002 to 2008. His last club was the Spanish third division outfit Leganes.
