Keisuke Honda: I was eager to sign for Lazio, but now I am committed to CSKA

CSKA Moscow midfielder Keisuke Honda admitted he was disappointed when his transfer to Seria A side Lazio did not work out, but maintained his commitment to the Russian club.

«I won’t hide it, I wanted to move to Rome, but there is no point talking about it now. I am a CSKA player and will do all I can to help my team. I have been out for a while, so I miss playing football. Hopefully I can return to the pitch soon,» the Japan international told Sport-Express
