Lazio confirm CSKA rejected €13million offer for Honda

Italian club Lazio released an official statement disclosing some details of their unsuccessful transfer bid for CSKA Moscow’s Keisuke Honda.

«In the light of some reports in the press regarding our negotiations with CSKA, we would like confirm that our club offered €13 million for the Japanese midfielder. We were prepared to transfer this fee to the Russian club’s account over a 12 month period.»

«It is also true that we were prepared to include goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo in the deal. Our offer was the biggest out of the transfer bids made in Seria A this January,» claims the club from Rome.
