Gokdeniz Karadeniz: It would be flattering if Dynamo Moscow were really interested in me

Rubin Kazan midfielder Gokdeniz Karadeniz said he hadn’t been contacted about a possible transfer to Dynamo Moscow, adding that he only knows about the interest from his current club and some Turkish sides.

«Have you read the reports about Dynamo being allegedly interested in signing you?»

«I got it translated for myself. You are probably looking to hear my reaction? I’m already used to the fact that in Turkey they write about my transfers every six months. These aren’t always true – more often it’s just fantasies – but who would dare to forbid people to write such reports?»

«Has anyone from Dynamo called you?»

«No. I haven’t discussed this option with anyone – neither my agent, nor any people from the Moscow-based club, nor any other intermediary.»

«Would you like to play in Moscow?»

«It would be flattering if a club like Dynamo would really show interest in me. But there is nothing like that so far, only interest form Turkey and Kazan.»

«Rubin president Dmitry Samarenkin said he intended to offer you a new contract. Have you already talked to him about it?»

«Yes, I have. The president of Rubin is the only man to whom I have talked about my future. He said he wanted to see me in Kazan with a new contract.»

«Did you discuss any details of a possible agreement?»

«No, we didn’t. For now, we just had a talk and that was it. The season is not over, there are two more important games left. All the serious decisions in the club will be made after that, I guess,» Karadeniz said to Sport-Express.
