Goal.com: Hiddink gets offer from Anzhi, but likely to prefer Chelsea
Guus Hiddink who has been fired as Turkey head coach recently is thought to be considering a return to Chelsea to a similar position. According to Goal.com, this could happen within the next few months.
Moreover, Anzhi Makhachkala are said to be also interested in the 65-year-old Dutchman. The Russians have reportedly offered him a record salary. According to the aforementioned source, Hiddink became interested in the proposal, but took a few weeks for consideration given the opportunity to work at Chelsea.
Hiddink’s Turkey team lost to Croatia in the Euro 2012 qualification play-offs with an aggregate score of 0:3, and the country’s football federation decided not to renew his contract. However, Hiddink will continue to receive his salary until August 2012 as the termination charge stipulated by his contract is too big.
