Abramovich denies ownership of shares in CSKA Moscow
The owner of Chelsea Roman Abramovich was questioned in London on Tuesday, after his former business partner Boris Berezovsky filed a suit against him.
According to Vedomosti, when asked the question «Do you own a stake in CSKA?» Abramovich said he didn’t have one.
It’s worth notEuropa Leing that last summer CSKA president Moscow Evgeny Giner acknowledged in an interview with Forbes that Abramovich had supported his football club.
In 2004, UEFA conducted an investigation on the claims that Abramovich or Sibneft, a company then co-owned by him, owned CSKA. However, the investigation didn’t find any evidence of the allegations.
