Spartak’s Welliton suffers pinched nerve, walks with crutches
Spartak Moscow forward Welliton was unable to play until the end Sunday’s match in the Russian Premier League against Tom Tomsk (4:0) and had to leave the field on a stretcher in the 78th minute.
Welliton was preliminarily diagnosed with a pinched nerve in the lumbar spine. Now he can’t walk without crutches. If the diagnosis is confirmed, the Brazilian will miss 7 to 10 days and would have to miss the next Premier League match against Lokomotiv, according to Sovetsky sport.
