Roberto Carlos: The amount of fake interviews attributed to me has gone beyond reasonable limits
Anzhi Makhachkala player-coach Roberto Carlos said he wouldn’t speak to the press anymore and denied the statements about the club’s alleged plans to sign the world’s top players, including Robin van Persie or Nene.
«Once again, I have to regretfully admit that the amount of of fake interviews attributed to me has gone beyond reasonable limits recently. Words about some fictional newcomers whose names were a real discovery for me at times have been put into my mouth.»
«In this regard I would like to make two official statements. The first one is that I didn’t mention particular names of any new signings from among the players or possible candidates for our head coach position in any of my interviews. The second is that from now on I won’t do any more interviews and will completely dedicate myself to my coaching job at Anzhi,» Roberto Carlos said as quoted by RIA Novosti.
