Dzsudzsak undergoes collar bone surgery, can resume training in six weeks

Balazs Dzsudzsak who fractured his collar bone yesterday in a collision during the Russian Premier League match between Anzhi and Rostov (1:1) underwent a sugery last night.

The player arrived in Hungary, where he was operated that same night, with one of Anzhi doctors. Dzsudzsak will be able to leave the hospital on Monday. He will have to wear bandage on his arm for ten days and will be able to start running after three weeks. After six weeks the Hungarian midfielder will be allowed to resume his training, but will still have to keep away from collisions.

«It was a very unlucky situation when I got injured, but fortunately it wasn’t my leg and the doctors said the surgery went well. It is very disappointing that I injured myself before the very important games of the national team. Now I feel tired after the surgery, but I can leave tomorrow and I will visit the national team. I’m confident I will get well soon and I hope to play against Finland in October,» Dzsudzsak told the website of the Hungarian Football Federation:
