Zenit refuse to confirm interest in Napoli’s Lavezzi

Zenit St. Peterburg sports director Igor Korneev didn’t confirm the currently reported interest of the Russian club in Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi.

«I can answer in the same way we did in the case of Forlan: it makes no sense to comment on whether that is a rumor or not. I can only repeat that I see no reason to comment on it. There have been too many reports about Zenit’s alleged interest in various players», Korneev said to Sovetsky sport.
