La Derniere Heure: Carcela-Gonzalez may join Anzhi from Standard Liege

The 22-year-old midfielder of Standard Liege Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez is keen on leaving his current club.

The player who has been recently chased by Spartak Moscow, Valencia, and Udinese may eventually join Anzhi in the nearest future, according to La Derniere Heure.

It’s worth noting that the reports suggesting that Spartak had already agreed the signing of Carcela-Gonzalez for €9 million appeared last month. Later it emerged that the player was not included in Standard’s official squad for the Champions League.
