Nine Russians elected to various UEFA committees

A two-day session of the UEFA executive committee finished today in Nyon. Following its results nine representatives of Russia were elected to various committees of UEFA and took the following positions, according to the official site of the Russian Football Union:

Vitaly Mutko, Russian minister of sports, tourism, and youth policy – chairman of Media Committee, deputy chairman of Players’ Status and Agents Committee;

Sergey Fursenko, president of the Russian Football Union (RFU) – chairman of Marketing Advisory Committee, deputy chairman of Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee;

Sergey Pryadkin, president of the Russian Football Premier League (RFPL), RFU vice-president – member of the Players’ Status and Agents Committee;

Andrey Balashov, RFU General director – deputy chairman of the Stadium and Security Committee;

Yekaterina Fedyshina, RFU deputy secretary general – deputy chairman of the Fair Play and Social Responsibility Committee;

Yelena Yeremeyeva, RFU financial director – member of the Club Licensing Committee;

Igor Shalimov, RFU deputy sports director – member of the Women’s Football Committee;

Yuri Baskakov, referee – member of the Referees Committee;

Yevgeni Giner, CSKA Moscow president – member of the Club Competitions Committee.
