Ruud Gullit may take charge of Xamax Neuchatel

Terek Grozny vice-president Khaidar Alkhanov spoke about the meeting at which the head coach of his club Ruud Gullit was dismissed and admitted that the Dutchman may continue his career at Xamax Neuchatel.

«There was no big meeting. President of the club announced Ruud Gullit’s dismissal and thanked him for his work. Gullit also thanked the management for their trust. We parted easily, without any complaints to each other.

«Our former sponsor Bulat Chagaev took Gullit and they left for Switzerland. Maybe, he will also coach there. It’s just an assumption for now,» stated Alkhanov according to RIA Novosti.

Bulat Chagaev, vice-president of Terek, has become the owner of Xamax in May 2011. Last week he also tried to rename the Swiss club as «Xamax Vainakh», a reference to the Vainakh group of peoples, of which the Chechens are a part. However, the renaming failed to meet the deadlines and will be postponed for at least one season.
