Terek Grozny begin talks with former Lokomotiv coach Yuri Krasnozhan

Terek Grozny have begun negotiations with Yuri Krasnozhan, having made him an offer to take charge of the Chechen club right after he officially teminates his contract with Lokomotiv Moscow. This information has become available to Sports.ru reporter Denis Bystrov from a reliable source close to Krasnozhan.

Lokomotiv have dismissed Yuri Krasnozhan a week ago on suspicion of match-fixing. As of now, the parties are in talks over the amount of penalty fee and other details of contract termination.

Current head coach of Terek, Ruud Gullit is expected to be sacked from Terek in the nearest future. The statement on the club’s official site says it will happen if the team loses its next RPL game against Amkar Perm. However, as Khaidar Alkhanov admitted in his interview with Sports.ru, Gullit’s dismissal is inevitable in any case.

«How do you intend to work with a coach whom you consider inadequate?»

«In my opinion, it’s impossible. It will not bring any good both to him and to us. We can’t work futher on like that.»

«Does it mean that in this situation there is no other alternative except for Gullit’s departure from the club?»

«I see no other alternative. The club cannot leave, only Gullit can leave,» Alkhanov stated.
