Zenit reportedly interested in Stuttgart’s Serdar Tasci

Zenit St. Petersburg are said to be chasing VfB Stuttgart defender Serdar Tasci. According to Bild, the Russian club has already made an offer concerning the player’s transfer.

At the same time Stuttgart sports director Fredi Bobic did not confirm the fact of negotiations and reminded that Tasci has a contract until 2014. However, the said contract has a provision enabling the player to leave the German club unconditionally for €14 million.

Last season Tasci played 26 matches in the Bundesliga, all of them in the starting eleven.

The player’s agent Uli Ferber has already denied the possibility of Tasci’s move out from Stuttgart.

«Serdar does have many offers, however, he is not going anywhere. His goal is to get ready for the next season and enter it in a good shape,» stated Ferber.
