Vladimir Golubovic - The man you can trust

Vladimir Golubovic is now 29 year old contributing much to Unicaja, certainly the guy you can trust and it won’t cost you too much.

 

Athletic, though not very agile

Shots: Pivot shots, fade away jump shot, stable mid-range shot. Quite effective from the line.

Defense:  Eyes are always at the same time on the ball and on his player

Opponent constant one hand control

Not good while passing through screens, but is focused to play aggressive against pick and rolls doing some early switches. In this case he is still not effective vs small guys

Makes it possible to position himself between the ball and his player – never-ending fighting for this position. Quick position shift.

Offense: screen make machine

Tends more  to play in the paint even without the ball, constantly offering himself and some offense schemes develop involving him.

He runs only straight line from basket to basket with no alternative directions.
