EuroBasket 2011. Russia’s extended squad announced

The coaching staff of the Russian national team has announced the 19 players included into the extended list for the European championship 2011, according to the press service of the Russian Basketball Federation.

The Eurobasket will be held in Lithuania from August 31st to September 18. Russia’s second training camp ahead of the tournament is scheduled for July 15.

The extended squad of the Russian national team is the following:

Timofey Mozgov, Yevgeny Voronov, Andrey Vorontsevich, Dmitry Khvostov, Yegor Vyaltsev, Vitaly Fridzon, Sergey Monya, Alexey Zhukanenko, Maxim Grigoriev, Sergey Bykov, Nikita Shabalkin, Anton Ponkrashov, Alexey Shved, Alexey Zozulin, Valery Likhodey, Semyon Antonov, Alexander Kaun, Andrey Kirilenko, Viktor Hryapa.

At the preliminary stage the Russians will face the national teams of Georgia, Slovenia, Belgium, Bulgaria, and Ukraine.
