Mathys Boisrame гоняет мотоцикл Джеффри Херлингса в первых двух гонках чемпионата мира
Former European Champion Mathis Boisramé will be racing in Red Bull KTM colors in the first two rounds of the Motocross World Championship in the UK and Italy. The French driver has been through several days of testing and will now be running at the helm of a KTM 450 SX-F due to an injury absence from Jeffrey Herlings, who in turn is recovering from an operation performed on his left heel.
It is important to remember that the 23-year-old made his MXGP debut in the last five races of 2021 and has recorded four top 10s as best results. Boisrame was crowned EMX250 Champion in 2018 and competed for two and a half seasons in the MX2 class.
“When they postponed the British Grand Prix for another week, we had a little more time for some testing and tests and it became clear that we could bring Mathis into the team in the first round. Jeffrey is unique, it is impossible to find another driver like him, but we can appreciate the speed and determination of Mathis. He has already shown that he can be fast and strong. This is a good opportunity for him and for us to make some important miles,” said Joel Smets, Team Manager, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing.
