Официально: Франческо Баньяя и Ducati продлевают голосование по контрактам до 2024 года
After the indications already given to continue Francesco Bagnai in the official Ducati team, confirmation came today: the world runner-up in 2021 will even remain in Borgo Panigal.
According to motogp.com, this Italian "marriage" has been extended for a couple more seasons, leaving the #63 Desmosedici GP until the end of the 2024 championship.
Francesco Bagnaia was born in Turin in 1997 and made his MotoGP debut in 2019 with Pramac Racing. He competed in the 2020 season with the same team, where he won his first podium finish in second place in the queen class in Misano.
With official team status for 2021, the driver continued to shine and was the last driver Fabio Quartararo had to exchange arguments with before crowning himself champion. This year, Bagnaia aims to capture the Ducati title and repeat the feat of Casey Stoner in 2007.
