Vitaly Petrov «reasonably pleased» after coming 19th in the Malaysian GP practice
Caterham driver Vitaly Petrov indicated he is not troubled by another low finish in the race after coming 19th during a practice drive Malaysia.
«We worked through the normal Friday runplans and for me it was a pretty good day,» Petrov was quoted as saying on the Caterham website.
«The grip levels this morning were not good, but I think that was the same for most of the teams. ... We have a couple of areas to focus on tonight, particularly looking at maximizing traction, but I’m reasonably pleased with where we have ended up.»
Caterham, which is Malaysian-owned, intends to fit their cars with the KERS – a system that recovers energy generated under breaking and throws it back into acceleration, for the first time this season.
