Oksana Kosachenko: If we fail to reach agreement with Lotus Renault, Petrov will leave

Oksana Kosachenko, the manager of Lotus Renault GP driver Vitaly Petrov commented on the news that Robert Kubica won’t be able to return to racing by the beginning of the 2012 season, and didn’t rule out the possibility that Petrov could leave the team.

«Now I think the team is making up its mind on who will finally have the place in it for 2012, and we can only accept its decision. We still haven’t signed the final agreement for 2012. After the Brazilian GP we will discuss the contract with the team’s management.

«If we fail to reach agreement on the issues that stand between us, then, unfortunately, we will have to leave the team,» Kosachenko said as quoted by Infox.
