Keep calm and support Juventus

"It’s easy to come to the stadium and applaud when everything is going well" (Leo Bonucci)

Very wise words from one of the team's leaders. But just imagine, Juve wins from match to match, say, 4 years in a row. I mean, in all tournaments. Booooriiiing! The Sherlock might have said so. To me, he wouldn't be far from truth. When there's no place for rivalry, you kinda relax. Your team takes another 3 points week after week, month after month and, of course, you get your joy. But not very much. Winning stops being as joyful as it was years back, 'cause it becomes a routine. Predictability kills intrigue and blunts your emotions. And aren't emotions among the main benefits of the Game? What's the point of being the best, when there's no real opposition? Just Imagine Fedor Emelyanenko easily beat someone half as strong. Such fight may be fun only for mayhem addicts, for sadists. But not for true professional fight experts.

I'm not saying that it's better when your team always looses points. No, it's not. But I urge you to remember the emotions you experienced when Dybala equalized in that home match against Chievo. As for me, I jumped to the floor and screamed at the top of my lungs, celebrating the goal as it saved my team from a complete shame at the very end of the match. It also proved once again that the squad has a strong character. I don't remember feeling this way after Vidal scored another penalty goal in Serie A in previous years.

And now Juve fans, lemme ask you: are you waiting for the nearest weekend home match against Bologna with as much interest, foretaste and excitement as you waited for a Serie A home game against a non-top club a year or two ago? Answer honestly, do me a favour. Of course not! That's it. That's what realising Inter is 11 points ahead does. At times bitterness from points' losses isn't an enemy, that torments you, but, on the opposite, a friend. A friend who reminds you what the Game is all about and how much your loyalty to the club's colors costs.

We (Juve fans) are currently living through one of the most exciting periods of the club's life. Perestroika! It's the time when we got to be paitent and show our loyalty. Sicking your dogs at Max Allegri isn't a right thing to do, to my mind. "He's a good tactician, but he can't motivate" (one of hundreds of brilliant comments from a Sports.ru couch expert)". How the hell you know this? You know nothing, you're only able to jump at your hopless conclusions, blaming someone you don't like. Keep calm and support your team. There are a lot of glorious triumphs ahead. Personally I don't have a single doubt about it. So cheer up and stop whining like a little girl! And if you are a whining little girl cheer up as well!
